lowe2-go-top.jpgHigh-end German audio specialists Loewe have today revealed a new portable speaker, the Loewe Speaker 2go.

Packing in Bluetooth and NFC connectivity, it’s designed as a travel companion for those looking to wirelessly stream tunes on the go.

Compact at 24 x 10.5 x 5.1 cm, it manages to offer 40W output using three digital amplifiers, with three separate speakers within the enclosure.

Interestingly, the speaker also has an integrated mic, optimised for voice, allowing the Speaker 2go to route calls and be used as a speakerphone, meaning you wont have to disconnect your smartphone should a call come through. You may want to make sure the volume is turned down a bit if its a private conversation though.

The speaker boasts a wireless range of 10m across Bluetooth, and if that’s not available, also supports line-in through a 3.5mm jack. The speaker can also charge connected devices from its own onboard rechargeable battery using a built0in USB port.

Keep an eye out for this one in stores from June, priced £269.
