dell-xps-13-ultrabook.jpgDell have given their award-winning XPS 13 Ultrabook a high-resolution makeover, swapping out the 720p screen of last year’s model in favour of a full HD 1080p display instead: a 1920 x 1080p resolution.

As well as the bump in resolution, Dell claim improved viewing angles (178 degrees compared to 80 degrees of a standard display) and brightness levels, now hitting up to 350 nits.

First revealed back at CES 2013 in January, Dell have revealed two different configurations for the 13-inch laptop. US customers can expect to pay $1,400 for an Intel Core i5-3337U processor model and $1,600 for a model boasting a more powerful Intel Core i7-3537U processor.

Other specs include 8GB of RAM as standard, and a 256GB SSD.

For those trying to save a few quid, the 720p models remain on sale, with prices ranging from $999 to $1199, depending on configuration.
