Our favourite Android phone of last year, the Nexus 4 is the flagship Google phone right now, built by LG to showcase Android Jelly Bean 4.2. It features a 4.7-inch display and 1.5GHz quad-core processor, as well as an 8MP camera and wireless charging options.

The Nexus 4 is avaialble on 24 month contracts starting at £31 a month through Virgin Mobile. That bags you 200 minutes, 500 texts and 500MB of mobile data. Top of the scale is Virgin Mobile’s Premier 08 contract that costs £44 a month and offers unlimited minutes to landlines, 2500 minutes, 500 minutes to 0800 0845 0870 0808 numbers, unlimited texts, unlimited mobile data.

However, it may come a little too late to make much of an impact for Virgin Mobile, as attentions are now turning to the rumoured Google Nexus 5 instead.
