wii-u-mini-thumb.pngWe’re on the cusp of the first next-generation console launch in 6 years with the Wii U hitting UK stores on Friday 30 November. But that doesn’t mean Nintendo have given up on their original Wii console; a product listing from Best Buy Canada, leaked online early, suggests Nintendo are looking to launch a new, pint-sized Wii Mini console.

Set to land on 7 December, it’s a redesigned console intended to only stand upright, initially avaialble in red and black and packaged in with a red Wii Remote.

The listing further backs up earlier rumours of a Wii Mini reveal as seen in another retailer’s leaked release schedule.

No official word word from Nintendo yet on the console’s launch, nor its UK pricing or any differing specs over the original. We’ll keep you posted as soon as we hear confirmation.
