apple-imac-specifications-release-date.jpgTime to revise those Christmas lists; following rumours that they’d miss out on a 2012 release date altogether, Apple have now confirmed that their new iMac models will launch in the UK on 30 November, just in time for the holiday sales rush.

Featuring a new super-slim design, each new iMac model houses an Ivy Bridge-generation Intel Core processor (either i5 or i7 depending on configuration), as well as Apple’s Fusion Drives, which combine the best of both SSD and HDD storage options.

“The all-new iMac will be available on Friday, November 30. Featuring a stunning design, brilliant display with reduced reflection, faster processors and an innovative new storage option called Fusion Drive, the new iMac is the most advanced desktop Apple has ever made,” reads the company’s statement accompanying the news.

21.5-inch iMac models will be available through the Apple Online Store, as well as Apple’s retail stores and select Apple Authorised Resellers. The 27-inch iMac will be available for order through the Apple Online Store only, and will begin shipping slightly later (December), but should also be ready in time for Christmas. You hear that Santa?
