senn-u320.jpgSennheiser have today expanded their gaming headset line-up to include the new, multi-platform compatible Sennheiser U 320 headphones.

Designed for “mature gamers”, the headsets will work fine with PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles, PCs and even Macs.

According to Sennheiser, an open-acoustic design helps you keep a cool head, with a soft-padded unique CircleFlex design that “ensures that the ear pads adjust automatically, making the game experience a comfortable thrill.”

The headset also includes a noise cancelling microphone that cuts down on ambient noise, letting you bark clearer orders at you guild and squadmates. In a nice touch, you’ll quickly and intuitively be able to mute the mic by simply raising the boom arm up.

There’s also a small remote on the cable for volume control, and a switch for adjusting the tone of the cans.

“The U 320 ensures the best conditions for enjoying your favourite game. We’ve worked hard to develop a consistent sound, regardless of the platform, and believe that our efforts will contribute to players everywhere enjoying a better sound experience,” says Product Manager Christian Ern of Sennheiser Communications.

The U 320 gaming headset is available from HMV stores in the UK now, priced £109.99.
