Samsung_ES9000-580-75.jpgAt 75-inches across, Samsung’s mammoth ES9000 TV has more than enough room for a shed load of features, and that’s just what it’s got packed inside its 0.31-inch bezel.

The newly unveiled 1080p LED Smart TV has full 3D support, and comes equipped with motion gestures with which to control the set and play gaming apps like Angry Birds.

In terms of picture quality, the ES9000 boasts the highest contrast ratio ever popped into a Sammy telly, delivering deep blacks through Micro-Dimming Ultimate and Precision Black Local Dimming technology.

There’s also a built in camera for video calling, a Sound Share app which wirelessly connects the TV audio to Samsung’s Series 6 and Series 7 Wireless Audio with Dock Systems over Bluetooth, all powered by a speedy dual-core processor to stop the UI and visual app elements from lagging.

Hitting US stores in August, it’s a predictably-expensive $9,999 dollars. No word on a UK launch yet, but we’ll pass on the details as we get them, if we get them.

  •  Built in video camera for calling? more like spying on people for marketing research. Samsung Fail.

  • Its over priced? thats an understatement. Has samsung fixed their capacitor problem and screen uniformity issues?

  • 60″ ES8000 is about $3,000. Who is willing to pay 70% premium for slightly better picture quality and bigger size?? That $10,000 price tag is nonsense!!
