samsung-galaxy-beam.jpgSamsung’s nifty-looking Galaxy Beam projector phone is now in stock with a number of online retailers.

Head over to Expansys, and you can pick up the jack-of-all-trades SIM-free for £349.99. It’s also appearing over at the Carphone Warehouse on a 24-month, £31 per-month contract.

As well as all your regular Android 2.3 Gingerbread functionality, the Galaxy Beam can project a 50-inch image anywhere you choose, making it a nifty tool for travelling presentation givers.

Though it’s a shame the phone runs off the ageing Gingerbread OS, it’s over specs are fairly decent, with a 1GHz dual-ore processor, 4-inch touchscreen with a 480×800 resolution, 768MB of RAM, a 5MP camera with flash and 8GB of storage. Providing you don’t over do it with the old projections, the 2,000mAh battery is a reasonably hefty one by smartphone standards too.
