eurocom-monster.jpgIf you’re looking to grab a super-powerful notebook, money is no object and you’re not too keen on Apple’s Retina-packing MacBook Pro, Eurocom have just revealed details of a new supercharged laptop. And, just like it’s name suggests, it’s a real Monster.

The Eurocom Monster is an 11.6-inch notebook, that, while not the prettiest of machines, more than makes up for it in processing grunt. A top spec configuration of the laptop packs in an Ivy Bridge Intel Core i7-3920XM processor, 16GB of DDR3-1600 of RAM, a 240GB SSD or 1GB Hybrid drive, as well as a NVIDIA GT 650M discrete graphics option, clocked at 850MHz.

Sandy Bridge processor options are also available among other lower configuration choices if you’re looking to shave a few notes off the price, but that would seemingly be missing the point here.

“This is the perfect system for mobile professionals who need exceptionally capable hardware for such things as mobile server applications, technical presale, CUDA and OpenCL development on the go” said Mark Bialic, Eurocom President.

It’s certainly designed to be a real workhorse then, and while the 1366 x 768 screen (glossy or matte) won’t necessarily grab the attention of gamers or video editors, both parties would find their needs well catered for by the machine’s innards.

No pricing or release information available at present, but expect it this Monster to fetch quite a price.
