Following the wave of new Blackberry handsets revealed by RIM last week, Vodafone have become the first network to pop the BlackBerry Bold 9900 on sale and announce pricing for the smartphone.

The phone will come free on 24 month contracts, starting at £41 a month. That bags you 1,200 miinutes of talk time, unlimited texts and a 500MB data allowance per month.

If that’s a bit too pricey for your monthly wages, you can buy the phone for £399 on a £20.50 a month plan, £299 on a £26 one, £199 for £31 a month, or £99 for £36.

RIM’s skiniest smartphone yet, the Bold 9900 is just 10.5mm thick, with a 1.2GHz processor and the BlackBerry 7 OS onboard. Both a 2.8 inch, 640×480 resolution touchscreen and QWERTY controls feature, alongside NFC tech.

8GB of internal storage comes as standard, expandable by up to 32GB with microSD cards. Still and video shooting specs are clocked at 5MP and 720p HD respectively.
