After an “entertaining messaging phone”? Agreed, it’s a clunky way to describe a new blower, but if you are, feast your eyes on the Sony Ericsson txt, the last in a trio of new phones from Sony Ericsson today.

Designed for heavy Facebook, Twitter and SMS texters, it’s a full QWERTY handset that could be considered the younger sibling of the Sony Ericsson txt Pro.

A dedicated SMS shortcut hardware button lets you jump into text mode at the push of a button, while a 3.2MP camera and Wi-Fi let you share your snaps easily.

A 2.6 inch 240 x 320 non-touch display is navigated by a central navigation button array, while 100MB of internal memory is supplemented by microSD support (up to 32GB). An FM radio, as well as Bluetooth support, round off the feature set.

Headed to shops in Q3, there’s no pricing available yet, but expect to see it in stores in shades of white, black, blue and pink.
