Motorola Atrix Everything Everywhere network carriers revealed

The Motorola Atrix, the smartphone/laptop-docking dual-core beast, is nearly ready to touch down in UK stores. We already knew that it would be hitting Orange shops first (free on a £35 per month, 24 month contract, which includes 600 minutes, 750 MB data allowance, unlimited texts, 50 MMS and unlimited wi-fi) exclusively as of tomorrow, but that exclusivity period won’t be long lived.

T-Mobile will also be selling the phone from June too. It’s worth remembering that T-Mobile and Orange are tied together under the Everything Everywhere umbrella banner these days.

From August however any carrier that sees fit to add the Atrix to their portfolio can do so. It’s a powerful device (NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core 1 GHz Cortex A9 processor, Android 2.2, 1GB LP DDR2 RAM) so we’d expect consumers and networks Vodafone, O2 and Three alike to still be interested a few months down the line.

Hit the video above for a quick look at the phone from this year’s CES show.
