bb-monaco.jpegWhat appears to be the latest generation of the BlackBerry Storm has just appeared over at BGR, along with a few key specs.

Expected to drop the Storm moniker altogether, the handset will likely launch as the BlackBerry Monza, or Monaco when on the Verizon network. There’s also speculation that it will simply be called the BlackBerry Touch.

Under the hood is said to be a 1.2GHz CPU, a 3.7-inch 800×400 display, and 768MB of RAM, with a 720p/5MP camera sensor on the back. The operating system will be BlackBerry 6.1, with NFC tech also set for inclusion.

That’s it on the handset for now, but expect to find out a lot more come BlackBerry World in May.

  • I like the look of this device very much but I suppose if I want a physical keyboard I’ll have to get a Torch 2? Nice big screen though and would go well in an Otterbox Case.
