Google Translate Enables Users To Translate Real-Time Speech

How cool is this! Google Translate for Android, is a new feature built that acts as your own personal Babel Fish. Essentially it does what Wordlens does only in real-time speech.

You simply need to press a key when the language is being spoken and it translates it. For example say your ordering some food while on holiday in Spain in English, it translates what you say into the phone, and then reads the Spanish version out loud, so the waiter can understand. They can then respond in Spanish and the phone will convert it to English, speaking it out loud.

Check out a preview video of the app above. Android users with 2.1 or higher can download the new Google Translate now.
