Some major Hollywood talent has been snapped up by Activision to provide voice-over work for their forthcoming gaming blockbuster Call of Duty: Black Ops.

Gary Oldman (Bram Stoker’s Dracula, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight) will be reprising his role as Viktor Reznov from Call of Duty: World at War, whilst Ed Harris (The Truman Show, The Abyss, The Right Stuff), will also feature as CIA operative Jason Hudson.

Screenwriter David S. Goyer, whose credits include the two recent Christopher Nolan directed Batman films, is also onboard as a script writing consultant.

“Oldman, Harris and Goyer are considered some of Hollywood’s finest talents and they perfectly complement Call of Duty: Black Ops’ ambitious and immersive single player experience”, said studio head of Treyarch, Mark Lamia.

“Their contributions have helped us to push the boundaries of our story telling and character development far beyond anything we have ever attempted before in the franchise”.

Call of Duty: Black Ops hits stores on the 9th of November, available on the PC, PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii, as well as a handheld version for the DS. Gamer or otherwise, you wont be able to avoid it; if Modern Warfare 2’s release was anything to go by, it’s set to be huge.
