In what is probably the least surprising piece of gaming news you’ll hear all day, Sports Interactive have today revealed that a 2011 edition of their annual Football Manager sim is in the works.

Among Football Manager 2011’s many new features are a new contract negotiation system that’s been developed alongside real-life footballing agents to give more personality to transfers, 100 new animations including celebrations in the 3D Match view, night time matches, dynamic league reputations, an updated media module and increased interaction with both players and board members.

Fire up the video above for an in-depth look at the next instalment to the veritable series, with Sports Interactive head-honcho Miles Jacobson on hand to talk through the changes.

Out on PC, Mac and PSP just in time for Christmas, if the precedent of last year’s edition is anything to go by, expect an iPhone app version to follow shortly afterwards.
