Pioneer launch wall-mountable KODO XW-NAW1 iPod dock

Pioneer KODO XW-NAW1 iPod dock.jpgIs shelf space a pretty rare commodity in your pokey flat? That wont be a problem for Pioneer’s latest iPod dock, the KODO XW-NAW1. At only 83mm it’s their first wall-mountable dock, which they promise doesn’t scrimp on audio quality for the sake of its svelte dimensions.

Featuring touch-sensitive controls and blue illuminating lights, the dock also packs in a two-way 30W stereo speaker with neodymium tweeter magnets and a component video out connection.

“The latest addition to the Kodo range perfectly combines flexibility with superb sound”, said Pioneer’s Dominic Freely.

“At an affordable price, the versatile and stylish XW-NAW1 will conveniently accommodate any living space and ensure iPod and iPhone users receive the highest sound quality”.

At £199 it’s perhaps not quite as affordable as Freely would have you believe, but they are throwing in a stand too if the whole wall mounting thing is going to mess up your living room’s feng shui.

  • It is good news for iPod users as ipod docks are very nice to use instead of chargers. I also like to use dock more than charger and I have heard that iPhone 4 dock is also introduced and I am happy if it will come true as I got iPhone 4 just a few days ago.
