archos logo.jpgTablet devices, unsurprisingly, are going to be a big draw at this year’s IFA conference in Berlin. We’ve already had a very interesting announcement from Viewsonic this morning concerning a dual-booting Android/Windows tablet, and now Archos are chiming in with 5 slates of their own.

With enough variations to please most price points, the tablets will all be Android based, ranging in size from 2.8 to 10 inches. According to Archos, they’ll be capable of “computing, communications and apps with the power of Android plus ARCHOS’ legendary video quality.”

Slim on details, at least it confirms suspicions that tablet tech is going to be a major trend at this year’s show.

More news from IFA next month. Stay tuned to Tech Digest for all the details.
