Canon EOS 60D top.jpgCanon have just revealed details on their latest DSLR, the EOS 60D. The successor to the now 2-year old EOS 50D, it’s packing some incredibly impressive specs, making that long wait seemingly well worth it. Click here for all the official pics you can handle!

Packing in an 18MP APS-C CMOS sensor, the 60D also features a DIGIC 4 processor for shooting up to 5.3 frames per second. It also allows for in-camera RAW image editing, handy if you need to touch-up any images and can’t get near to a photo-editing suite first.

ISO range is pretty impressive too. You can go from 100-6400, which is also extendable to 12,800.

HD video recording has been a major selling point of Canon’s DSLR’s for a while now, and the 60D is no exception. It’s capable of 1080p full HD H.264 video capture at up to 30fps, and 720p at a silky 60fps.

The camera also features a 3 inch twist-out LCD screen and HDMI port, as well as support for SD, SDHC and SDXC memory cards.

The Canon EOS 60D weighs in at £1,099.99 for the body-only kit, though you’ll also be able to buy it bundled in with 18-55mm, 18-135mm, 17-55mm and 17-85mm lenses as well. It’s due out in October.
