call of duty black ops bundle.jpgSpecial edition box sets of the forthcoming Call of Duty Black Ops game are now available to pre-order in the UK.

Publisher’s Activision have released details of the premium collectors versions of the game, developed by Treyrarch, the team previously responsible for Call of Duty World at War.

Two different boxsets will be available, a “Prestige Edition” and a “Hardened Edition”. Each comes complete with a copy of Call of Duty Black Ops, but also a few treats unique to each edition.

Probably the most sought after will be the Prestige Edition. It comes with a remote controlled surveillance vehicle based on the RC-XD gadget that features in the Black Ops multiplayer modes. It will work at ranges of 200 feet and will transmit colour video and audio back to the person controlling it, James Bond style.

Alternatively, the Hardened Edition comes with a limited edition medal, a Black Ops outfit for your Xbox Live Avatar and four playable co-op maps that wont be available elsewhere.

Exclusive to Game HMV and Gamestation, the boxsets will set you back £129.99. Availabel for both PS3 and Xbox 360, they’ll ship alongside the regular editions of the game on 9th November 2010.
