Are you a sucker for matching brand gadgetry? Got yourself a PS3? Then you’ll be queuing up to pick up a Sony CECH-ZVS1 surround sound bar, complete with a little PS3 logo. Well, if you’re Japanese at least, where it goes on sale on September 30th.

Measuring up at approximately 720 × 87 × 85mm (width × depth × height) and weighing 2.4 kg, it features Sony’s S-Force PRO Front Surround technology for a multi-dimensional sound experience.

Capable of decoding Dolby Digital format, DTS, AAC and linear PCM, it has a number of different sound modes for different situations, including “DYNAMIC”, “STEREO”, “VIVID” and “STANDARD”.

The speakers themselves have an amplifier output of 10W × 2ch (6Ω), while the subwoofer is 15W (8Ω) .

No word yet on a UK release, but you’ll likely be just as well served with other Sony soundbars, providing you can live without matching accessories.
