acer Aspire Timeline 1825PT.jpgAcer have announced the launch of the Aspire Timeline 1825PT laptop. With a twisting screen that lets it fold down into a multi-touch tablet, it’s looking like one of the most powerful laptops we’ve seen so far with this form factor.

Sporting netbook-like dimensions, the 11.6 inch Aspire Timeline 1825PT opts for a beefy Intel Core 2 Duo CPU rather than the Atom chips predominately used in machines of this size. 3G connectivity gives you web access while on the go, with options for 250GB or 350GB of storage and as much as 8GB of DDR3 RAM.

The 1366×768 display can be outputted to your TV via HDMI, and when folded down into tablet form should perform quite well thanks to the Intel processor. Acer also throw in a touch-optimised browser with their TouchPortal software, meaning your time spent draining the 8 hour battery should be finger-friendly.

Out now, you can pick the Aspire Timeline 1825PT up in black red and blue, priced £599.99.
