royal navy app.JPGThinking of becoming one of the Royal Navy’s elite engineers? Then test your mettle with this new iPhone app.

Designed to replicate the challenging scenarios that the engineers face on a daily basis, the app features five mission that include re-wiring a radar system, fixing an engine and preparing for a simulated missile attack.

Whilst fun in its own right, the app is also meant as a way to gauge how users respond under pressure, and whether or not they would be suitable applicants for the Royal Navy.

Captain Mike Davis-Marks, Captain Naval Recruiting says: “We are currently looking for recruits who have a keen interest in being part of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines and feel that they need a new challenge. Launching the iPhone is very exciting for both serving Officers and prospective recruits as it is an interactive challenge which is a cut above other recruiting methods.”
