comscore.jpgAccording to new research carried out by ComScore, the iPhone has overtaken Windows Mobile as the 2nd most used OS behind Blackberry’s RIM. This is the first time Apple have overtaken Microsoft in the US mobile market.

Things are likely to shift slightly with next year’s slew of new Android phones. Either way the news wont please Microsoft officials; such figures will see developers jumping ship to work on apps for the handsets growing in popularity.
