The Nokia N900 has started shipping to destinations across the globe in preparation for its 16th November release, and this creepy teaser-video shows just how exciting a piece of kit it is set to be.

The Nokia N900 is shaping up to be an incredibly powerful handset. Boasting a powerful ARM Cortex-A8 processor and up to 1GB of application memory, the N900 will have all the multi-tasking functionality of a low-spec desktop PC. Its Maemo 5 operating system and an 800 x 480 touch screen, will be excellent for browsing, and already a whole range of apps have been lined up for the handset.

José-Luis Martinez, Vice President for Nokia’s N-series said “The Nokia N900 has generated a lot of interest since its public launch in August, which has been reflected in the device pre-orders. What’s exciting is the Maemo software, which takes its cues from the desktop computer and offers a full browsing experience like no other handset.”

The Nokia N900 is available to pre-order here, priced £499.00.
