And another one tumbles… Yep Android, now officially the great white hope for mobile phone manufacturers who don’t make either the iPhone or the BlackBerry, has claimed yet another scalp. With Samsung’s Android phone imminent, Motorola’s Android handsets unveiled tomorrow and loads of rumours about Sony Ericsson and Nokia it comes as no surprise that LG has hopped aboard the Google mobi bandwagon.

LG etna.jpgHard working German website Chip Online spotted the LG Etna on the Vodafone stand at the recent IFA consumer electronics exhibition in Berlin. They snapped this one picture and gleaned a little bit of information about it.

Apparently it is a low-end handset, which pits it nicely against yesterday’s Android handset the HTC Tattoo, and features a QWERTY keypad, a 5 mega pixel camera, Bluetooth and a three inch screen.

LG is saying nothing, but we bet it will, be in the store by Christmas.
