Over 80,000 users have joined a Facebook group called “Hey Facebook, Breastfeeding is not Obscene,” after the site started deleting innocent photos of women breastfeeding their newly hatched, soft-headed, screaming, purple-faced spawn. Here’s how Facebook defines an offensive nipple photo…

“Photos containing a fully exposed breast – as defined by showing the nipple or areola – do violate those terms on obscene, pornographic or sexually explicit material and may be removed”

That amusingly serious definition of what tame material passes for porn in the boring Facebook office hasn’t placated the angry mob, though, with 11,000 people joining a recent “virtual campaign” to try and stop Facebook auto-censoring accidental nipple shots – by setting accidental nipple shots as their profile pics.

Good luck. The one thing the internet really needs more of is photos of tits. If I could travel back in time to tell the 14-year-old me that there’d be a time in the future when I’d actually be bored of looking at photos of tits I’d never believe myself.
