Dell Inspiron 910.jpgThe pencil is back! Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Dell has something to say about the Inspiron Mini 9. First of all it came with Windows, then it arrived in Tescos with Linux, now folks, the sub-1kg sub-notebook can be yours from Vodafone for absolutely zip, zero, bupkas!

Of course, they mean “free” as in “unlimited”, i.e. not. If you sign up for a 24-month broadband contract with Vodafone, then you can get yourself either the Linux or the Windows version, which’ll come with a SIM pre-installed, “for free”. I’d recommend the Linux but they only give you a poxy 0.3-megapixel webcam as opposed to the 1.3-megapixel unit on the Microsoft version.
