In addition to the P80 I just mentioned, Nikon has also designed the S52 and S52c compact cameras.

Shown above, the S52 will be available in plum black or silver, and features a 9.0-megapixel sensor, 3x optical zoom with a NIKKOR lens, and extremely high ISO of 3,200. Yes, I said 3,200. With its contoured body and periscoped lens, it’s very pocket-friendly yet still manages a 3″ LCD screen.

Lens Shift Vibration Reduction, alongside the usual modes make the S52 a bargain at its sub-£230 pricing. It will be exclusive to an as-yet unnamed UK high street retailer from the 25th of April. Read on below for information regarding the S52c…

The S52c is very similar to the aforementioned model, however houses an inbuilt Wi-Fi connection in the external bulge on the left of the unit. Face-Priority AF, In-Camera Red-Eye Fix and D-Lighting also feature.

The S52c is available in the plum black colour, and will be available on the 16th of April, for £229.99.
