Sony boosts Digital Dictation Machine range with seven new models

sony_newdict.jpgWhether you are a beginner or a serious user, Sony has something for you with seven new additions to its Digital Dictation Machine range.

The high-end models are the ICDSX68, ICDSX78, ICDSX78DR9. All offer stereo recording via a built-in triple microphone with an 80-20,000Hz close-to-CD frequency range, built-in memory of 512MB (SX68) and 1GB (SX78) respectively, Digital Voice Up Function (volume adjustment to highlight quieter voices in play back mode) and Digital Pitch Control (playback at an increased or slower speed without distortion).

The mid-range model is the ICDUX60B, with 512MB storage, MP3 stereo recording and playback, USB Direct Connection and Digital Pitch Control. At the entry level comes the ICDB600, ICDP620, ICDP630F, with speakers, file conversion to MP3 or WAV and recordable FM radio (ICDP630F only).

The new models are available from April 2008. Prices to be confirmed.
