haup_usbtuner.jpgFreesat launches in a few weeks, offerings lots of free channels via a dish and the appropriate hardware – like the Hauppauge Freesat USB2 tuner.

The tuner supply plugs into a spare USB2 socket and connects to the satellite socket for access to over 80 digital TV and radio stations on a PC or laptop. And it uses the Astra 2D satellite – the same satellite Sky uses – meaning no dish realignment is necessary.

With the Nova-S USB2 installed, you can watch, pause and record live TV for later viewing, controlling everything with the included remote control and EPG. It’s available for £79.99.
