jensen.jpgHome phones have always been pretty dull affairs, but things could be changing. After the launch of the Colombo Two, there’s another designer phone on the horizon – the RTX T80 DECT telephone.

It’s the work of leading Danish designer Jacob Jensen and if you think it looks like a Bang & Olufsen, then you’ll be right – Jensen is best known for his B&O work. For your money, you get ‘superior’ sound quality with adjustable ringer volume, bass and treble, seven polyphonic ‘designer’ ring tones unique to the phone, a range of up to 50m indoors and 300m outdoors and a smooth menu-driven interface.

Sold with a choice of coloured backs, the T80 will sell for £179.95.
