nokia-6650-6124.jpgOver in Germany at CeBIT, Nokia has added two new handsets to their portfolio, the 6650 and 6124.

Exclusive to T-Mobile, the 6650 (left) offers HSDPA connectivity, GPS, 2.0-megapixel camera, plus standards such as a multimedia player with dedicated music keys, microSD slot, and Bluetooth. The 2.2″ TFT QVGA screen is encased in a stainless-steel clamshell outer, and contains 30MB of internal memory. It will reportedly be priced at an entry-level rate with T-mobile during the third quarter of 2008.

Meanwhile, the 6124 handset on the right is based on S60 and Symbian operating systems, and is optimised for Vodafone customers with 3G connectivity. Again, it’s not that spectacular, with a 2.0-megapixel camera and microSD slot. At least it’ll come out sooner than the aforementioned model, in the second quarter apparently.

  • Laser Cosmos – the galaxy into your home
Fancy the universe on your bedroom ceiling? That’s what Laser Cosmos offers.

Fully adjustable and requiring no set up, this space projector scatters a random selection of animated stars that will fill any room from the tiniest bedroom to the largest warehouse. And it seems three-dimensional, with the varying brightness of different stars making some seem close and others to come from distant galaxies. None of it is real of course – it’s all done with lasers and holographs
