Fancy getting fit in the new year? Well, you’ve probably left it a bit late to be honest – although a trip to the shop for the iPod/Nike kit and a download of this 30-minute jogging workout could get you moving in a matter of hours.

It’s a simple idea – the boffins at Nike and Apple decide on a set of tunes that will inspire you to run, you download them, transfer to your iPod and it’s all systems go. A new mix called Nike Zoom Jasari+ Mixed Run was released yesterday, apparently inspired by Nike’s Jasari track spike worn by the first person to cover two miles in under eight minutes.

Covering 30-minutes of running at various speeds, the mix is ‘designed to build speed and endurance’ and throws in some voice guidance to keep you motivated. It retails for $10, track listing below:

01. Wake Up Call (Maroon 5)
02. Love Today (MIKA)
03. Tick Tick Boom (The Hives)
04. Flathead (The Fratellis)
05. When Did Your Heart Go Missing? (Rooney)
06. Rehab (Amy Winehouse)
07. Crank That [Travis Barker Remix] (Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em)
08. Chelsea Dagger (The Fratellis)
09. Ruby (Kaiser Chiefs)
