Intelligent Furniture launches the Powerdesk range – PC meets furniture

Sick of that grey or off-white PC case being on display in the living room? You might want to replace it (and your existing desk) with something from the Powerdesk range from Intelligent Furniture.

Put simply, it combines a desk with a desktop PC, but hides all the ugly workings of the latter – no visible tower case and no cable spaghetti, with all the essential control built subtly into the desk as a ‘Freemote’ unit – on/off switch, USB ports, headphone and mic ports, CD/DVD drive and operating lights.

The desk comes with a standard Dell PC (but can be adapted for other PCs), TFT monitor, cordless keyboard and mouse and a built-in audio system. Various finishes available, from steel and glass to more traditional wood, with prices starting at £1250.
