nikon-d60.jpgSome were left wondering last Thursday where Nikon was, as we had stories floating in from every camera manufacturer in town. Finally, we’ve just spied the oft-touted King Of D-SLRs sidling into town, and with him he’s got the new D60 D-SLR to show off.

With a satisfactory 10.2-megapixels, it has a 0.19 second power-up, continuous shooting mode at 3fps, their 3D Color Matrix Metering II, RAW image handling, in-camera retouching capabilities, vibration sensor cleaning, and images are viewed on a 2.5″ LCD screen, lacking in live-view however.

It’s compatible with AF-S and AF-I Nikkor lenses, and will be available either February or March, with pricing unavailable at the moment.
