Oh, c’mon, you know you do. That beige box needs to be pimped up, and if your wallet can take the strain, Tokyo firm Zeus Computer has just the thing. It’s called Jupiter, and it’s a top-spec PC housed in a case made from pure platinum. The cost? 80 million Yen – around £377,000.

If you’re a bit strapped for cash, there’s also a Mars model made from solid gold, which only costs 60 million Yen (£283,000). Both are plastered with diamonds in a pattern designed to resemble zodiac constellations and the Milky Way.

Oh, and they both have Windows Vista pre-installed. Yeah, I know. You were about to flash your credit card and that’s put you off. Ah well.
