Tux Droid – penguin-shaped internet buddy and his fishy friend

Remember Nabaztag the Wi-Fi bunny? Well, here’s something similar – but instead of a rabbit, the Tux Droid goes for the linux vote with a penguin shape.

It’s a desktop companion, with info beamed wirelessly via a USB fish transmitter to your penguin. And that information can include incoming emails, RS feed updates, weather reports – anything really and all ‘spoken’ by the penguin. And that’s not all, this remote-controlled buddy can also double up as a VoIP phone, MP3 speaker and alarm clock.

Which seems like pretty solid value for your £89.95.
