in-rainbows.jpgIf you’ve yet to choose your own price for Radiohead’s ‘In Rainbows’ album, you better get a move on. The band have announced that they’re closing the site next Monday, in advance of the album’s proper CD release at the end of December.

Although Radiohead have still not announced just how many downloads the album sold (or at what average price), the release has been acclaimed as a success within the music industry, with numerous artists planning to follow in their footsteps during 2008.

And there’s more good news for Radiohead fans: according to industry mag Billboard, the band are in talks with Apple over selling ‘In Rainbows’ (and presumably other Radiohead albums) on iTunes. Radiohead have famously kept their albums off iTunes, due to throwing a wobbly about people being able to cherry-pick tracks rather than buy the whole thing.
