  • I bought a Medion MD 8824 and a Medion NT 8828 desktop computers “graded Professional units” from Aldi Store in Australia/Fountain Gate Store/Victoria and I’m not happy with these computers general performance after 5 weeks since purchasing them. I’m experiencing frequent Windows break downs – Screen turns black, Windows won’t turn on unless the Recovery Disk is used – about 3 times in 5 weeks since I’ve bought these computers. Aldi Stores policy is that if the customer is not satisfied with the product, it may return the product back within 60 days and get a refund.

Well, not with this Aldi Store in Fountain Gate/Victoria/Australia!

On 30/09/2009 I went back to the FOUNTAIN GATE Store after 5 weeks with one of my computers – Medion MD 8824(in a imaculate condition and in its original packing)- only to be told by the Store Manager that, that I’m not going to get a refund – insteed I have to takeit back home and lern how to work with the computer – thus becouse she (the Store Manager) bought one too for herself and her’s works fine.

I want that the “60 days return policy to be honored” by this Fountain Gate Aldi Store, I want a refund on this particular unit (Medion MD 8824cost AUD $699.00) and if the second unit (Medion NT 8828 cost AUD $799.00) breacks down as ofen as the first one I will need my money back too!

I like to return to any Aldi Australia Store and shop happily as I did for the last 6 years

    Cheers, Andrew
