Sony has increased the capacity of the Memory Stick Micro card and thrown in an M2 USB adaptor for easier transfer of files from a PC.

The range of cards now goes from 512MB to 4GB, the larger of those now offering storage for up to 3700 high-quality digital photos, 4000 songs or 45 hours of video footage on one of its handsets, says Sony.

The card with adaptor will be available this month, price still to be confirmed.
