Alex recently met with Peter Dawe, of DaweVision, who’ve created Babel TV, which we’ve mentioned a few times on Tech Digest already. Essentially it’s a simple plug-in and play box, allowing you to watch and record freeview TV, check emails, chat on IM, view digital media, create and edit office documents, and even browse the internet.

Costing £295, with a choice to pay £1 per month per GB used for backing-up data on their external server, it’s out now – check out Alex’s video above, where she chats with Peter Dawe about the service.
