Like a game of Laser Tag in front of your TV, these Third Space Vests can simulate the feeling of being shot when playing your first-person shooters. Mmm, added realism, tasty.

They’ve been created by Mark Ombrellaro, a physician who was inspired by medical vests used when training medical staff. According to SciFi.com, it includes eight different zones which give you varying amounts of feedback. For the gamers who are yet to be seduced by Jack Thompson’s crazy rants about the danger of the gaming industry, it’ll be available to all lounge-room commrades for $189 next month, bundled with Call of Duty II and an unspecified space game. Simulated G-shock? Sign me up.

  • I love the idea of having a vest that simulates more realism into the game. I hardly think they would be able to accurately simulate being shot though. (good thing too)
