Sony launches new range of two-channel PC speaker systems

Five 2.0 PC speaker systems announced by Sony, including two mid-range desktop PC speakers (SRS-Z510 and SRS-A212B), two entry-level desktop PC speakers (SRS-A201 and SRS-AX10s), as well as one portable speaker system (SRS-M30).

The battery/mains-powered SRS-M30 portable system features a 39mm Neodymium driver for sound clarity and a slim design with a built-in slot to attach the pair of speakers into one unit for portability. The SRS-A201 entry-level system houses a 57mm white cone type unit for a clear sound, while the SRS-AX10 has a 2mm Neodymium driver, built-in digital amplifier for sound clarity, ‘floating’ speaker cabinet and a control switch on the stand.

The mid-range systems offer dual inputs for connecting a PC/laptop and MP3 player simultaneously. The silver SRS-Z510 offers high frequency speakers with a built-in Mega Bass feature and a 55mm Sigma driver for a powerful and clear sound The SRS-A212B has a built-in digital amplifier and 66mm white cone type unit for a powerful sound in a small casing.

Prices to be confirmed, expect them on the shelves in the coming weeks.
