Motorola has unveiled its T505 portable in-car Bluetooth speakerphone and digital FM transmitter, offering full hands-free compatibility with Bluetooth phones or MP3 players.

Stereo Bluetooth phones, such as the MOTORAZR or MOTOROKR Z6 will allow music and calls to be streamed to the car radio, while users with ordinary Bluetooth phones can use the T505 to make and receive calls over the car stereo.

The T505 features StationFinder technology which announces where the best FM connection can be found on the user’s car radio. When calls come in, the T505 automatically mutes the music and audibly announces the Caller ID.

It also features echo and noise reduction technology, and a built-in microphone and 2-watt speaker.

It offers up to 18 hours of talk time, 14 days standby time, and has dimensions of 76mm x 78mm x 22.8mm. It easily pairs with other devices, and comes with an in-car charger.

Expected to be available from the first quarter of 2008, price to be confirmed.

  • Very nice, gives me a lot of inspiration being right in the midst of a redesign. It’s all in the details and comment forms are definitely overlooked more often than not. Time well spent on this post.
