Freecom launch MusicPal in the UK – internet radio and MP3 streamer

Freecom has launched the MusicPal in the UK, which offers net radio,, MP3 streaming and the option to browse your RSS feeds.

Compatible with PC or Mac, the MusicPal offers access to around 5,000 stations worldwide via your local network and the option to connect to your PC, Mac or networked storage device to play MP3 files. And if you want to keep up with the latest news or posts from your favourite sites, there’s a live ticker of content from your selected RSS feeds.

There’s also a radio/alarm and the option of using the device standalone or as part of your hi-fi set-up. It will be available exclusively from PC World, priced at £100.
