facebook-apologises.jpgIn a move that should stop the New York lawyers harassing it so much, work-friend sex-finding network Facebook has promised to deal with all serious complaints within 24 hours.

This comes after the New York Attorney General’s office set up a Facebook sting operation where his men pretended to be children and complained of sexual harassment to see what would happen – nothing happened for three days.

To show how sorry it is about everything, Facebook will launch a new “fast track” complaints process for dealing with moans about porn and harassment, with a new warning screen helpfully telling those people not yet signed up what they could be in for when they eventually do join the social networking mega-bandwagon.

  • Facebook gets complaints such as this every minute… They can’t deal with every little issue. People need to keep privacy on, be safe when using Facebook and the internet in general. I’m glad Facebook has a team who deals with these issues.
