Denon has mixed its audio expertise with all the functionality you could ask for to produce the SMART S-52 DAB wi-fi table radio.

This new addition to Denon’s SMART System family packs in a DAB/FM radio, a CD player, a concealed iPod dock and internet radio. It can also stream music from network devices, PCs or Macs and that includes a wide range of formats, including MP3, WMA, AAC, WAV and FLAC. Also featured is a full remote, clock/alarm, large high contrast graphic LCD display and text display for DAB.

And for enhanced sound quality, there is Audyssey Bass-XT and Dynamic EQ software, four high-quality sound tuned speakers, long throw drive units plus passive bass radiators.

Suddenly, that large system in the bedroom looks a but redundant. You can pick up the SMART S-52 for £500.
