British Airways launching digital music single

So much easier is it these days to get into digital music, some rather unlikely players are jumping on board.

British Airways releasing a single for digital download? Apparently, it’s part of a drive to improve customer affinity and enhance their marketing campaign.

“Angel Eyes” features BA’s well-known “signature tune”, “The Flower Duet” by Delibes, into a song by singer-songwriter Brian Hodge.

According to Richard Kirstein, MD of Leap Music, “It perfectly encapsulates the message of British Airways’ new advertising campaign, but also stands up as a single with strong radio airplay potential in its own right.”

Songs from the adverts are nothing new, of course, but I’d prefer that BA stuck to flying aeroplanes than diving into the digital music arena.
