The beauty of this potentially dangerous thing is its shock-resistant nose cone, which houses a little digital camera that’s capable of recording a 12-second video at 640 x 480 resolution – or taking three still photos per launch. The camera points at the ground, and records the view as it flies 500 feet up into the air.
Nice, but we’ll hold out for the 10 megapixel version. With image stabilisation. And a self-cleaning lens. They’re not fobbing us off with last-generation 640 x 480 rubbish.
